*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a strong commitment to providing excellent care and grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring that pets look their best while also prioritizing their comfort and safety. This role requires both technical grooming skills and exceptional customer service abilities. *Responsibilities* * Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling for various breeds of dogs and cats. * Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques. * Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use. * Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide recommendations. * Handle pets safely and gently, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process. * Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing any concerns or questions they may have. * Assist in lifting larger pets as needed, ensuring safety for both the pet and yourself. *Experience* * Previous experience in pet grooming is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate. * Strong customer service skills to create a welcoming environment for pet owners. * Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger breeds or multiple pets. * A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being is essential.
