*Job Summary* The Proposal Manager oversees the creation and submission of business proposals, playing a crucial role in the sales process. They ensure that proposals are compelling, compliant, and aligned with both the client?s needs and the company?s offerings. This role involves strategic planning, project management, and collaboration with various teams to gather necessary information and craft persuasive proposals. *Duties* * The primary responsibility would be to manage requests for proposals (RFPs) and ensure timely and high-quality bid submissions. * Bid Management: Oversee the entire bid process, from pre-solicitation through proposal submission. * Ensure compliance with customer requirements and proposal deadlines. * Assist in creating detailed reports on Cost Benefit Analysis to be presented on proposals for competitive advantage. * Work collaboratively with the internal team to write, organize, format and compile proposals. * Manage, develop and coordinate proposals from long lead to RFP; analyze requirements, set-up kick-off meetings with the team. * Contribute to written and graphic content. * Work with internal teams to prepare generic materials for use in proposals * Search for new opportunities and downloading of all documents and distribution to the appropriate team members. * Support the marketing team in the development of marketing materials. * Provide on-going marketing research and other duties as assigned. * Work with a team of skilled engineers, Rep?s, vendors and other project support staff/stakeholders. * May assist in creating System Manuals, Factory Training and Factory Acceptance documents. *Qualifications* * Bachelor's degree or equivalent, ideally in a technical/engineering field from a recognized college or university. * 3+ years of experience in technical, marketing and proposal writing is considered an asset. * Must be detail oriented. * Strong project management skills. * Experience within the Water Industry is a plus.
