Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Inspect repaired vehicles. Plan repair work to be performed. Replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components. Hammer out dents, buckles and defects using blocks and hammers. Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place. Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment. Area of work experience: Body components. Doors and frame. Frame straightening. Front end components. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Support for newcomers and refugees: Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees . Support for youths: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth. Support for Indigenous people: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers .- LocationBrampton, ON
