_*\*\*\*Hourly wage increased \*\*\**_ We here at 2FOUR Solutions are currently seeking a skilled Sandblaster to join our team. As a Sandblaster, you will be responsible for operating sandblasting equipment to remove rust, paint, and other materials from surfaces in preparation for painting or other treatments. You will work on a variety of projects, ranging from industrial machinery and equipment to vehicles parts and structures. The ideal candidate will have experience working with different types of sandblasting equipment and will be able to perform their duties safely and efficiently. *Responsibilities* * Operate sandblasting equipment to remove rust, paint, and other materials from surfaces * Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear * Maintain sandblasting equipment and troubleshoot issues as needed * Prepare surfaces for painting or other treatments * Communicate with team members to coordinate work activities * Keep work area clean and organized * Perform other duties as assigned *Daily Duties* Every work order has set list of tasks which include: * Preparation for the work * Sandblasting * Spray Painting * Touch-ups * Shop Clean-up after project completion * Redoing Preparation, Blasting, Painting, or Touch-ups when necessary * Final Inspections *Requirements* * High school diploma or equivalent * At least 1 year of experience as a sandblaster * Experience using airless spray equipment is a plus * Knowledge of different types of sandblasting equipment and materials * Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings * Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently * Ability to lift and move heavy objects * Willingness to work in a variety of environments, including outdoors and in confined spaces Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 ? 50 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Paid time off Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Night shift * Overtime * Weekends as needed Experience: * Sandblasting: 2 years (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Driving Licence (preferred) Work Location: In person Application deadline: 2024-10-28- LocationEdmonton, AB
