*Overview* We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial painting, with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail. This role requires proficiency in various painting techniques and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Painter will be responsible for restoring and building surfaces, ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards of craftsmanship. *Duties* * Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and caulking as needed. * Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using hand tools and spray equipment. * Restore and maintain the appearance of surfaces through touch-ups and repairs. * Read blueprints and follow specifications to ensure accurate application of materials. * Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects efficiently. * Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences. * Adhere to safety protocols while working on-site, including the use of rigging when necessary. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of each project. *Requirements* * Proven experience in residential painting, construction painting, or a related field. * Proficiency in using hand tools and painting equipment. * Knowledge of drywall installation and repair techniques is a plus. * Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions accurately. * Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively. * Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. * Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, standing for long periods, and working at heights.
