Education: Master's degree. Work setting: Sports therapy. Orthopedics. Manipulative therapy. Private practice. Tasks: Assess patients' physical abilities. Supervise technical and support staff. Hire and train staff. Order and purchase equipment. Plan physiotherapy programs. Administer budget. Select appropriate exercises, apparatus and manipulations. Maintain clinical and progress reports. Confer with other health professionals. Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients. Carry out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulatory Boards Examination. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Eligible for professional liability insurance.
