*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*: * Responsible for the safe operation of assigned lift during shift * Safe loading and unloading of guests on and off the lift * Provide physical assistance when necessary * Managing the queue of skiers and snowboarders on and off the lift * Ensure all guests using the lift have a valid ticket or pass for that day * Operational maintenance including ramps, walkways and signs * Establish a friendly, interactive relationship with guests and fellow staff * Responsible for duties assigned by the team lead, supervisors and managers * Perform opening and closing safety checks * Able to lift 50lbs * Able to work in all weather conditions *Additional Duties*: Due to the many variables that impact our winter resort operations, such as weather and the number of guest visits, occasionally employees may be asked to perform other duties or to assist in efforts outside their primary area of responsibility as needed. *Working Conditions*: This is a winter resort area. It requires that work venues are varied and, in many cases, include steep stairways, multi-level buildings and outdoor work areas; Subject to cold/hot/wet. Some facilities are located at the base of the mountain, where others are semi-remote. Some work areas can only be reached by traveling via chairlift, snowmachine, atv, skis or snowboards. Proper layers of warm clothing, with an outer layer that is wind-resistant and appropriate footwear are essential. *Qualifications* * Customer service skills * Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with team * Safety conscious individual Join our team today and contribute to our commitment to excellence in operations!
