*JOB DESCRIPTION*
The Outside Sales Representative will meet with current and potential customers seeking company supplied products. Customer requests are searched and matched to close sales and meet monthly targets. The Outside Sales Representative will resolve customer questions, offer solutions, and generate new business with existing and new customers by using upselling tactics that ensure a great customer experience.
*WHAT WILL YOU DO?*
* Develop and follow up on new business leads while meeting face to face with prospective customers.
* Create positive customer relations to encourage repeat business and long term relationships.
* Enter quotas and invoices into the company?s invoicing system.
* Prepare and supply customers with freight quotes and invoices.
* Follow-up with customer quotes seeking closure of sales.
* Schedule meetings with previous customers to generate new leads and identify areas for improvement.
* Complete follow-up sales calls after delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns.
* Utilize extensive product knowledge to understand customer needs and requirements to help solve their problems.
* Collaborate with the sales team to identify growth opportunities.
*WHAT DO I NEED TO SUCCEED?*
* 3 or more years of related sales experience.
* Diploma or Degree in Commerce would be considered an asset.
* Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously, such as talking on the phone with customers and using multiple software applications.
* Excellent listening and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to create relationships and build rapport with vendors and customers.
* Self-motivated with the drive to meet and exceed your sales goals.
* Strong client service orientation.
