We are professional, agile, and innovative. *Job Description:* Maven Electrical Inc. is looking for an experienced apprentice electrician to join our team in Kelowna, BC. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the electrical field and learn from a team of professionals. *Responsibilities:* * Prepare electrical wiring diagrams and instructions for use in residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural applications. * Perform basic troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems * Perform minor repairs and maintenance on electrical equipment and wiring * Install electrical equipment (e.g. motors, switches, circuit breakers, etc.) * Run cables to facilitate the flow of electricity (terminate the cable with a termination point to connect to an appropriate switch or other equipment) * Perform minor repairs on electrical equipment. * Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems and ensure proper functioning of devices. * Document all work performed during the course of work by completing work logs. * Ensure that work is completed in accordance with company policies and safety guidelines. *Skills & Qualifications:* ·Must be 18 years or older ·High School Diploma or GED required. Electrified wiring experience preferred. ·Ability to read wiring diagrams and electrical schematics preferred. ·Basic understanding of troubleshooting techniques and how to prioritize tasks for better efficiency. ·Basic knowledge of electrical safety guidelines at all times when working with power tools or power sources. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship Pay: $21.00-$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Application question(s): * Do you currently live in Canada?
