*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Long Haul Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight over long distances, ensuring timely and safe delivery while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism in every aspect of driving. *Duties* * Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across long distances. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other required documentation. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. * Adhere to all federal, state, and local driving regulations. * Load and unload freight as necessary, utilizing forklifts or other heavy equipment when required. * Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability on the road. *Skills* * Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License). * Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques for troubleshooting vehicle issues. * Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment safely and efficiently. * Familiarity with freight handling procedures and logistics operations. * Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. * Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. * Ability to work independently while maintaining a strong focus on safety protocols.
