Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Non-smoking. Air conditioned. Work setting: Pharmacy or drugstore. On-site customer service. Tasks: Ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate. Enter client information in databases. Help pharmacists. Maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products. Prepare medications for clients. Set up and dismantle equipment. Compound, package and label pharmaceutical products. Bill third party insurers. Compound oral solutions, ointments and creams. Maintain supplies. Prepare and maintain cleanliness of collection areas. Organize and maintain inventory. May work in a team with shared supervisory responsibilities. Train staff. Perform cashiering duties. Operate cash register. Provide advice about merchandise. Provide customer service. Greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental or lease. Prepare merchandise for purchase, rental or lease. Maintain sales records for inventory control. Assist in display of merchandise. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : CPR Certificate. First Aid Certificate.
