Our client is on the hunt for a Legal Assistant to support its Real Estate and Financial Services department, with a focus on Restructuring and Insolvency. This role is suitable for someone with the ability to take initiative, prioritize and multi-task. *What you will be doing:* * Provide comprehensive administrative support with opening and closing files, drafting correspondence and court documents, and preparation of accounts etc. * Direct contact with court offices including Commercial List and Bankruptcy Court. * Conduct due diligence searches (via Cyberbahn and Oncorp.), review PPSA Summary, PPSA Registrations, etc. *What you will bring to the position:* * Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience as a Legal Assistant specializing in Restructuring and Insolvency law. * Completion of post-secondary Legal Administrative Assistant program. * Proficient in Caselines, Cyberbahn, Oncorp, and Sync Links. * Knowledge of Commercial List and Bankruptcy Court procedures. * Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, PDF Editing software, iManage, etc. * Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. *Why you should apply:* * Competitive compensation and benefits package. * Collaborative and supportive work environment. * Hybrid work model.
