Action First Aid is seeking dynamic, engaging first aid instructors with industry experience and a passion for empowering people in their communities to Take Action. We are looking for instructors who would thrive in delivering an interactive, hands-on, scenario based first aid program (NO POWERPOINTS, NO SITTING AT A DESK - ALL HANDS ON LEARNING!) If you're passionate about teaching, enjoy connecting with others, and want to make a difference, we want to hear from YOU! *The Ideal Action First Aid Instructor* * Has previous experience in healthcare, teaching, or working with another first aid training agency(an asset) _eg. Firefighter, Paramedic, Nurse, Aspiring Healthcare Students, Teacher/Professors, Health/Fitness Instructors, Adult Educators, EMS Dispatchers, etc. _ * Provides *reliable* part-time and/or full-time availability * Has strong interpersonal skills, is comfortable in front of large groups, is motivated to meet new people * Customer service, teaching or training experience an asset * Active problem solver, flexible and positive with change * Willingness to travel and has access to a car *AFA Provides You With:* * A Leading Edge, 5 Star Program and Experience * The opportunity to teach local or travel across the province of Ontario * High Quality Equipment and Teaching Supplies * Travel Compensation * Accessible Instructor Support Team * Traditional & Blended Learning Programs * Continued Education in First Aid/CPR Industry Standards * Easy to use, unique AFA Database * A Connected Team of Instructors & Staff _(team-building activities, holiday parties, interactive meetings)_ *Job Types: *Part-time, Full-time, Freelance/Contractor *Pay:* $23.50-$35.00 per hour (as per experience) *Expected Hours:* 8 ? 40 hours per week *Schedule:* * Day shift (Monday to Friday) * Afternoons/Evenings (Monday to Friday) * Weekends/Holidays as needed *Education:* * Secondary School (required) There is a reason that our clients continue to give Action First Aid a 5 star Google rating!
