Westar Group of Companies is based out of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and specializes in aggregate processing, transportation, forestry and earthwork. Westar has an opportunity for a highly motivated, experienced and responsible individual as a Grader Operator. -This is a camp based position, (5 on 2 off shift)-Transportation from Prince Albert to camp provided-This position is part of long term contract-Camp is located 1.5 hours from Prince Albert Note* Ability and experience operating other heavy equipment is an asset. Key Responsibilities (but not limited to): Maintain gravel roads as per specifications Maintain accurate records and logs Perform equipment inspections and preventative maintenance before, during, and after each shift Maintain cleanliness of work area Problem solving when dealing with unexpected situations Must follow all safety procedures Skills and Knowledge:-Thorough knowledge and understanding of Westar's safety procedures and their location-Ability to problem-solve and maintain composure if unexpected or undesirable situations arise Attributes/Personal Suitability-Professional -Positive and personable-Polite and courteous-Effective communicator -Conscientious-Diligent-Team player-Adaptable Qualifications:-Minimum 2 years of Grader experience-Experience operating other equipment such as excavator, dozer, skid steer and packer are also an asset-Class 1A licence an asset Westar Benefits:-Dental care-Vision care-Extended health care-RRSP matching- LocationPrince Albert, SK
