As a Specialist in site reliability engineering on the National Bank Data Protection team, you will ensure the operational reliability of data protection assets. With your experience and knowledge in the operational management of high-availability assets (HA), you will have a positive impact on the Bank's stability and reputation with its internal and external users.<div><br><div></div><div><strong>Your role:</strong></div><div><ul><li>Oversee the operation, maintenance, and ongoing development of data protection assets for the entirety of their life cycle </li><li>Manage operational requests </li><li>Put in place the processes needed to meet the Bank's operational demands </li><li>Work with the PO to ensure operational tasks are sent to the development teams </li><li>Manage IT operations </li><li>Manage 24/7-support teams </li><li>Organize fire drills for support teams </li><li>Manage incidents and organize incident postmortems </li><li>Manage recovery exercises (DR) </li><li>Manage vulnerabilities </li><li>Act as a model for operational excellence </li><li>Act as a technical authority on monitoring practices </li><li>Create the operational excellence roadmap and keep it updated </li><li>Centralize monitoring practices </li><li>Guide the System team to achieve its operational excellence objectives </li><li>Apply SRE theory and practices </li><li>Implement service level objectives (SLOs) on assets </li><li>Work with the teams to follow up on SLOs </li><li>Implement error budgets & budget overage policies </li><li>Understand and contribute to architecture design to enable efficient operation and high availability of the technology solutions deployed </li><li>Identify and implement tools and automations to optimize the operation of data protection services and assets </li><li>Measure data protection assets and address issues that prevent performance objectives from being met</li></ul><div><strong>Your team:</strong></div><ul><li>Working in the Information Security Delivery - Data Protection sector, you will join a team of 30+ colleagues and report to the Data Protection Asset Portfolio Manager.
