*ABOUT US:* Sparkle Solutions specializes in providing on premise laundry services (OPL) to large-scale facilities, including apartment buildings, fire departments, municipalities, condominiums and hotels in Canada. Property owners, managers and residents prefer Sparkle Solutions because of our expert management, seamless installation and robust reporting capabilities. This is no desk job, As a Sparkle Solutions _Heavy Duty Cleaner_, you will be responsible for visiting a variety of locations in your assigned service area making sure all laundry facility rooms and equipment?s are neat & clean and accordance with corporate Hygiene and safety policy. *POSITION SUMMARY AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:* * Working on laundry related equipment. * Able to safely, pull, push, Washers & dryers. * Interior and exterior Cleaning of equipment?s Including Washers & Dryers and remove any and all lint build up. * Cleaning any spillage overflows and stains. * Checking all equipment connections & ensuring they are leveled and secured in place. * Ensuring Exhaust fans are operational and inter locked with the dryers and booster fans. * Inspecting the lint traps, making sure it?s free from lint build up and blockage. * Sweeping and mopping the floor. * Reporting necessary repair & maintenance or hazards issues to the Manager. * Completing duties on the Daily Task Worksheets and records any deficiencies and reasons for incomplete tasks. * Maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment. * Performing any other related duties as required and/or assigned. *Requirements* * MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVING LICENSE WITH CLEAN DRIVING ABSTRACT * Lift up to 75 lbs. * Stand and/or walk throughout the duration of the shift. * Able to bend, stretch, lift, pull and carry, climb stairs. * Customer service skills. * A pleasant demeanor. * Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks * Self-motivated and able to work independently. * Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently. * Ability to communicate effectively in English. * Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. *SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:* The top candidate(s) will be required to undergo a security screening check conducted by Sparkle Solutions Human Resources. The process involves a background investigation that includes Criminal record and other pre-employment reports including work references from previous employers, driving abstract verification etc. We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages.
