Your skills that we need for our team are: * Provide a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service * Register sales on a cash register by scanning items, itemizing and totaling customers? purchases * Resolve customer issues and answers questions * Bags purchases if needed * Processes return transactions * Operating a cash register: itemizes and totals purchases by recording prices, departments, taxable and nontaxable items * Enter price changes by referring to price sheets and special sale bulletins * Discount purchases by redeeming coupons * Collects payments by accepting cash or charge payments from customers and makes change for cash customers * Verify credit acceptance by reviewing and recording driver?s license number; and operating credit card authorization systems * Balance cash drawer by counting cash at beginning and end of work shift * Maintain checkout operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes * Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Must have grocery store cashier experience. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Flexible language requirement: * French not required Shift: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Evening shift Work Location: In person- LocationScarborough, ON
