Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. Work setting: Urban area. Rural area. Various locations. Tasks: Operate survey instruments and devices. Participate in field surveys. Keep survey information in systematic order. Assist in the calculation, analysis and computation of measurements obtained during field surveys. Assist in the preparation of detailed drawings, charts and plans. Keep records, measurements and other survey information in systematic order. Determine precise geographic locations using global positioning systems (GPS) equipment. Record measurements and other information obtained during field survey activities. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Walking. Personal suitability: Accurate. Client focus. Excellent oral communication. Excellent written communication. Organized. Reliability. Team player. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you currently reside in proximity to the advertised location?.
