*Zoom Boom Operator * Scovan is looking for a Zoom Boom Operator to join our team in Ponoka immediately! You will be responsible for safely operating zoom booms to lift, move, position, and place materials and equipment within our fabrication yard. You have a strong understanding of zoom boom operations, safety protocols, and possess excellent spatial awareness. This position offers stable, full-time hours with an opportunity to grow and learn from our hard-working team! *Responsibilities:* * Operate zoom boom to lift, move, position, and place materials and equipment according to project specifications. * Ensure all lifts are performed safely and efficiently, adhering to established safety guidelines and procedures. * Conduct pre-operational checks on zoom boom and related equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance. * Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other personnel to coordinate lifts and ensure smooth operations. *Requirements:* * Valid zoom boom operator or telehandler operator certification/license required. * Valid CSTS 2020, Fall Arrest, Arial Work Platform tickets. * Strong understanding of zoom boom operations, rigging techniques, and load capacities. * Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team. * Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols and procedures. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. * Physical strength and stamina to perform duties associated with zoom boom operation. *Details:* * Typical week is 40-50 hours. 10-hour shifts Monday ? Friday. * Shifts may vary based on workload requirements. * All work is completed in our industrial module yard in Ponoka, Alberta.
