Apply today and become a part of our exciting journey! *Position Overview:* LawDepot is currently expanding and seeking an HR Generalist to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta. This position will play a pivotal role in our HR operations, while driving initiatives focused on fostering an engaging, positive, and high-performance work culture. This role is perfect for a results-driven, detail-oriented professional who excels with a diverse workload and is passionate about HR and contributing to our company?s success. This is a full-time permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week. *Primary Responsibilities:* * Work on a broad range of HR initiatives, providing support to team members and managers across multiple HR functions * Execute projects that enhance productivity, foster employee engagement, attract top talent, improve performance, build culture, and support retention * Support the development of strategic HR plans aligned with business goals * Conduct full cycle recruitment to hire new talent for the company (interviewing, job postings, resume screening, phone screening, reference checks, offer negotiation) * Craft job descriptions, job postings, interview guides, role assessments, and competency models needed for our internal positions * Partner with managers and employees to build strong relationships and deliver a great working environment * Provide guidance, advice, and timely support on various HR related matters * Take increased ownership over a specific HR function or Center of Excellence (ex. Learning and Development, HR Technology, Employee Relations, HR Analytics) * Create communication materials and internal documentation for policies, processes, resource updates, and strategic initiatives * Assist Sr. HR Leadership with performance management responsibilities as the company continues to grow larger and requirements in this area increase * Provide recommendations and evaluate program delivery with a focus on increasing company growth and key HR metrics (ex. time to hire, employee engagement, retention rates, performance success levels) * Perform office and facilities management tasks as needed *Knowledge and Skill Requirements:* * Post-secondary education in the field of Human Resources * Experience in a Human Resources or People Operations focused role (Generalist, Coordinator, Specialist, Business Partner etc.) * CPHR or other HR designations (ex. SHRM, CTMP) would be an asset * Understanding of Human Resources best practices and functional subject matter * Excellent organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple projects * Strong work ethic and drive for results * Positive demeanor and a solution-oriented mindset * Excellent written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail * Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective working relationships * Ability to give and receive constructive feedback, with a proactive approach to actioning new ideas and driving continuous improvement * Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) * High degree of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism * Understanding of employment law, Alberta Employment Standards and Human Rights legislation *Why You Should Join the LawDepot Team:* * Excellent total compensation package * Comprehensive health and dental ben- LocationEdmonton, AB
