*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and enjoyably. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of food handling, and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas. *Duties* * Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. * Assist servers by ensuring that all necessary items (utensils, condiments, etc.) are available for each table. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas throughout service. * Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow. * Monitor food presentation and quality before serving to guests. * Respond promptly to any guest requests or inquiries regarding their meals. * Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall dining experience for guests. *Skills* * Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations. * Experience in the food industry, particularly in restaurants or hotels, is preferred. * Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. * Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both guests and team members. * Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * A commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards in all aspects of food service. * Previous experience in hospitality or food service roles is an advantage.
