<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p>We are seeking a Casual Ambulatory Surgical Nurse to join our team! You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Administer nursing care to ambulatory surgical patients doing surgeries with plastic surgery, dermatology, urology and oculoplastics. Generally done under local.</li><li>Monitor patients in post op recovery after surgery.</li><li>Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior</li><li>Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care</li><li>Maintain accurate patient medical records</li><li>Be able to work casually weekdays and later afternoons (till 7 pm) and weekends (Saturdays) occasionally.</li><li>Start IVs and monitor patients receiving IV iron treatment. </li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields</li><li>Familiarity with medical software (Accuro) and equipment an asset</li><li>BLS certification</li><li>ACLS recommended</li><li>Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment</li></ul></div>Company Description<div>Unify Health is a multi-disciplinary medical and surgical clinic devoted to overall health of all people with family medicine, orthopedic surgery, urology, cardiology, dermatology, physiotherapy, chiropody, travel medicine and sports medicine working together to improve the healthcare experience of Ontarians.</div></div><h3>Company Description</h3><div>Unify Health is a multi-disciplinary medical and surgical clinic devoted to overall health of all people with family medicine, orthopedic surgery, urology, cardiology, dermatology, physiotherapy, chiropody, travel medicine and sports medicine working together to improve the healthcare experience of Ontarians.</div>- LocationEast York, ON
