Pathways Health Centre for Children is a family-centred community agency serving children and youth with physical, developmental and communication needs and their families as well as adults for selected specialized services in Lambton County. The Centre provides a full range of family-centred rehabilitation and support services. Aquatic programs in our therapeutic pool are open to people of all ages and abilities in the community. We are currently recruiting for full-time contract position: *Communicative Disorders Assistant - Full-Time Permanent* *Key Responsibilities* Working under the clinical supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist, the Communicative Disorders Assistant provides speech-language services as appropriate for clients of Pathways Health Centre for Children in Lambton and the surrounding Indigenous communities. Other duties may be assigned as applicable. *Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills* · Communicative Disorders Assistant Diploma (mandatory) · Fluency in French is an asset · Experience with Indigenous and diverse communities an asset · Cultural Competency training is an asset · Ability to provide service efficiently and effectively · Willingness to work as part of a team · Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills · Superior problem-solving abilities *Starting Salary*: $24.64 The successful candidate must be available to work flexible hours, must have a valid Ontario driver?s license and maintain adequate liability insurance or must have ongoing access to a vehicle and driver for Pathways business. A Police Vulnerable Sector Check and proof of immunizations, including COVID-19 vaccination is required.
