Reporter-Editor, Eight Months Part-Time The Fact Checking desk of The Canadian Press is looking for an experienced, dedicated and dynamic journalist with an interest in sharpening their investigation skills. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and be comfortable reporting on a variety of subject matters. The Canadian Press is a signatory to the code of principles set out by the International Fact Checking Network (IFCN), which requires us to meet certain standards of methodology, fairness and transparency of sources. Our accreditation demonstrates our commitment to identifying and addressing disinformation and fake news. Fact-checking experience is a plus but not required. Fairness and accuracy are paramount.
