*The Opportunity:* We are seeking a friendly and motivated Janitor to join our team at Point Grey Golf & Country Club. Our Janitors play an essential role in ensuring that the clubhouse and facilities are in top-notch condition for our members and guests. Reporting to the Clubhouse Manager, the Janitor is responsible for the cleaning, washing, and disinfecting of the clubhouse and on course facilities. This role plays an essential part in the member and guest experience. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you! *Schedule: *Saturday & Sunday 7:00am ? 3:30pm *Wage: *$20.50-$21.50 *Responsibilities & Duties:* * Clean, disinfect, and dust all clubhouse and facility areas and ensure they are up to par. * Replenish supplies in bathrooms, locker rooms, staff areas, and clubhouse as needed. * Collect and remove garbage and recyclable materials and ensure safe disposal of waste. * Assist with maintaining clean and organized work and public areas. * Set up event space with tables, chairs, and other furniture for banquets and club events. * Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning unexpected spills and executing special guest requests. * Communicate effectively with team members and other departments. * Adhere to safety standards. *Qualifications:* * Detail oriented. * Must be able to execute skills with janitorial tools. * Excellent time management skills. * Has a positive attitude and willingness to help with various tasks. * Highly organized with the ability to multi-task. * Must have the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 80 lbs. * Ability to work unsupervised and use of sound judgement. * A valid B.C Class 5 Driver's license and possess a vehicle for work-related duties. * First Aid Certificate or the willingness to obtain one. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Must be able to work flexible hours of work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. *Benefits:* * Access to the golf course and practice facilities * FREE on-site parking * Golf shop retail discounts * Fun staff events * A supportive team of colleagues to work alongside Point Grey Golf & Country Club is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
