Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Rural area. Tasks: Clean the crops. Cut horticultural crops. Greenhouse cleaning. Hand harvesting vegetables. Harvest seedlings. Level earth to fine grade specifications. Seed cutting. Weeding. Spray or dust plants with insecticides and fungicides. Assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants. Mix and prepare soils. Plant bulbs and seeds. Pot and re-pot plants. Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings. Report signs of insect or disease damage. Dig up wrapping rootballs of trees and shrubs. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Clean work area. Examine trees and shrubs to diagnose problems and disease. Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas.
