A well-established Italian restaurant brand is currently seeking to hire an experienced *General Manager* to spearhead the operations at one of our outlets. The ideal candidate is a charismatic leader with a proven track record of successfully managing operations at upscale restaurants. We are seeking a career minded individual with great business acumen who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses an exceptional ability to collaboratively curate memorable guest experiences while maintaining positive work culture. We look forward to hearing from candidates who possess a minimum 4-years of experience as an AGM/GM, and are interested in joining one of Toronto?s most renowned Italian restaurants. We would like to hear from candidates with a proven track record who possess a minimum 4- years of experience in high-volume, upscale dining environments. You will be rewarded with a competitive salary and benefits package. *Responsibilities* * Day-to-day restaurant operation * Hire and mentor new employees * Inventory control * Schedule development and labour control * Aid in all financial budgeting operations to maximize profitability * Work with the executive team to develop menus * Assist with daily opening and or closing of restaurants * Prepare and present weekly performance reports * Assist with developing and implementing marketing strategies *Qualifications* * Minimum 4 years of experience as a GM or an AGM managing full-service restaurant(s) * Understanding of Italian wine and spirits * Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: * Dental care * Discounted or free food * Extended health care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Ability to commute/relocate: * Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * Restaurant Management: 4 years (required) Language: * English (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Smart Serve (preferred) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-11-04- LocationToronto, ON
