Dong Russell & Company Inc. (DRC) is an established CPA accounting firm located in the Broadway/Kitsilano area of Vancouver, BC that provides assurance, accounting and taxation services to businesses, strata corporations, not-for-profit organizations and individuals for over 13 years. *We are seeking a candidate for a Senior Accountant position with a start date in January 2025.* *Qualifications* * Previous experience with assurance engagements (Audit, reviews, compilations) * Experience in performing assurance engagements * Previous experience with file review of assurance engagements is an asset * Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field * Proficiency in Accounting software such as Caseware, Cantax and Quickbooks *Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:* * File review for audit, review and compilation engagements, in addition to corporate and personal tax returns * Preparation of audit, review engagement and compilation files using Caseware * Preparation of financial statements using CaseView * Preparation of corporate and personal income tax returns using various tax software programs. *Additional information about Dong Russell & Company Inc.* * DRC is an Authorized Training Office (ATO) and is authorized to train candidates registered in the CPA Pre-Approved Program Route. * DRC operates in a paperless, Cloud based working paper environment. * Salary, payment of CPA PREP/PEP courses, payment of CFE and extended medical & dental benefits - Depending on experience.
