*Salary:* Volunteer (Possibility of Paid Position after probation, $17.20/hour)
*Benefits: *Group Insurance, 4% Vacation Pay
*Schedule:* 4 hours/day, 5 days/week

*Job Summary:*
Mississauga Secondary Academy is looking for an organized, punctual, and friendly receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment. Your responsibilities will include managing front desk operations, handling inquiries, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Greet and assist students, parents, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
* Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members.
* Manage and respond to general inquiries via phone, email and in-person.
* Maintain an organized and welcoming reception area.
* Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for administrative staff.
* Assist with clerical tasks, such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
* Support school events and activities as needed.
*Qualifications:*
* Completed Grade 12 Ontario Secondary Diploma.
* Diploma, Bachelor?s degree or Certificate in Business Administration, or a related field
*Additional Skills:*
* Proficient in English (second language is an asset)
* Ability to supervise and train other workers.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Strong teamwork orientation and client focus.
*Technical Skills:*
* *Computer Proficiency:* Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc).
* *Phone Systems:* Knowledge of multi-line phone systems.
* *CRM Software:* Experience with customer relationship management tools.
* *Data Entry:* Accurate typing and database management.
* *Scheduling Software:* Proficiency in calendar and scheduling tools.
* *Basic Accounting:* Familiarity with invoicing software.
* *Email Management:* Efficient handling of emails.
* *Internet Research:* Ability to find and evaluate information online.
* *Office Equipment:* Operation of printers, copiers, scanners, and fax machines.
* *Basic Troubleshooting:* Minor technical issue resolution.
