Do you have a passion for dogs and love walking? Part-time dog walker required 3-4 days per week and occasional weekends. Walks are required between the hours of 10am - 4pm (approximately) from the client's home, in and around Stouffville. Immediate opening. You will be responsible for dog walking, scooping poop, refreshing water bowls, keeping good notes about visits/walks and taking pictures. Reliability is a must as the dogs and cats depend on us! We work in every kind of weather. Follow specific instructions from dog owners. Monitor dogs for any signs of distress or health issues. Excellent customer service skills with dog owners in a friendly and professional manner. Knowledge of basic dog behaviour and body language to ensure the safety of dog and owner. Ability to handle dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments with confidence and care. Physical stamina to walk multiple dogs for extended periods of time. We are a professional boutique style dog daycare, dog walking and family dog obedience centre located in the heart of Stouffville. We have been offering dog walking since 2002! What can we offer you? Free exercise and free puppy kisses! All supplies required for the position (leash, treats, bags, wipes) and PPE provided. Continuous field support, competitive compensation, training in pet first aid and dog behaviour. Monetary $$ BONUS after 3 months and another bonus after 1 year. Discounted dog food and supplies. We are willing to train the right candidate for this position. We require the ideal candidate to be fit and active, have a passion for dogs, own their own reliable vehicle and provide a current police background check. This position requires the applicant be over the age of 21, own a smart phone, be legally authorized to work in Canada and be able to commit to a rewarding job.
