Responsibilities include:</p><ol> <li>Teach MIS courses to undergraduate, master's and doctoral students, including courses related to cybersecurity governance and management.</li> <li>Conduct research in management information systems and/or related subjects.</li> <li>Supervise graduate and doctoral students and actively participate in continuing education activities.</li> <li>Contribute to the life of the department, school and university.</li> <li>Develop ties with the academic and business communities.</li> <li>Commit to being a regular member of the Research Chair in Cybersecurity Governance and Management.</li></ol></div></div><div><div>Selection criterias</div> <div><p>Candidates must:</p><ol> <li>Hold a Ph.D. degree in business administration with a specialization in management information systems or equivalent. Candidates in the process of completing their doctoral studies will also be considered.</li> <li>Have an excellent research publication record or demonstrate a strong potential for future publications.</li> <li>Be able to teach in the areas put forward by the SIO department, including those related to cybersecurity governance and management.</li> <li>Demonstrate research interests compatible with those of the SIO department, including those related to cybersecurity governance and management.</li> <li>During a presentation to the department, the candidate should demonstrate the ability to transmit research results effectively and explain their scientific and practical implications.</li> <li>Demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain ties with the academic and the business communities.</li> <li>Demonstrate the ability to deliver high quality teaching in the field of expertise.</li> <li>Be able to teach courses in French within a short period after the start date. Candidates who currently do not speak French are still encouraged to apply. If selected, these candidates will be given 2 to 3 years to learn the language.</li> <li>Be familiar with the other disciplines in business administration.</li> <li>Demonstrate the ability to secure research funding.</li></ol></div></div><div><div>Hiring and treatment</div> <div><p><strong>Conditions</strong><br>Rank: Adjunct, Assistant or Associate Professor<br>Salary according to the current collective agreement at Université Laval.</p></div></div><div><div>Additional information</div> <div><p>All applications are treated in strict confidence.
