*Overview* We are seeking a skilled Optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for eye care and providing exceptional service to our clients. *Responsibilities* - Assist customers in selecting eyewear that meets their prescription and style preferences - Take accurate measurements for eyeglasses and contact lenses - Adjust and repair eyewear as needed - Educate customers on proper eyewear care and usage - Maintain inventory of eyewear and optical supplies *Requirements* -License required. - Experience in optical sales, laboratory work, or retail sales is preferred - Familiarity with Epic or other electronic health records systems is a plus - Knowledge of medical terminology related to optometry - Strong communication and customer service skills - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Previous experience in retail management or optical settings is advantageous Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour Expected hours: 15 ? 37.5 per week Additional pay: * Commission pay Benefits: * Company events * Discounted or free food * Flexible schedule * Profit sharing * Store discount * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person- LocationRichmond, BC
