<p> The Vancouver School Board welcomes applications for the position of:<p>ON-CALL CUSTODIAN with 5th Class Power Engineer Certificate or Higher<p>Hourly Rate: $27.55 (plus 16% in lieu of benefits)<p>Shifts During the school year - (September to June)-Monday to Friday, generally 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm or 3:00 pm to 11:00pm<p>Shifts During the Summer, Spring and Winter break- generally from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm<p>Only applicants who are fully qualified will be considered for this position <p>At the VSB, we are proud to provide exceptional learning experiences for students. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently, and as a team member, are essential. Although this position is On-Call, it is busy and there are regular assignments available throughout the year.<p><p><p><p>Required qualifications: <p> <p><p> Completion of Grade 12<p> Valid 4th or 5th class Power Engineering Certificate or a Recognized Power Engineering Program Certificate with Inter-Provincial Certification<p> Must be flexible and accept assignments on short notice<p><p>Your application must include: <p><p> Cover letter<p> Resume<p> Contact information for three direct supervisor references. All permanent positions include a comprehensive benefits package (extended health, dental and municipal pension plan).
