Ready Refrigeration is looking for a dedicated 2nd year electrical apprentice with a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will have a passion for electrical work, a commitment to safety, and a keen eye for detail. In this role, you will be working along side our Electrician installing, maintaining, repairing and upgrading electrical systems related to heat pump installations, ensuring compliance with local and national regulations and codes.
Responsibilities:
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures for heat pump systems according to the Canadian Electrical Code and other applicable regulations.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues related to heat pump installations, provide solutions and complete repairs in a timely manner
* Perform regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards
* Collaborate effectively with project managers, HVAC technicians, and other team members on heat pump installation projects
* Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns, answering questions, and providing updates on project progress
* Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to all company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
* Enrolled in school and working toward their Red Seal Electrician license.
* Working experience under an electrician, preferably with experience in heat pump installations or HVAC systems
* Proficient in the use of electrical tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices
* Strong knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code, local regulations, and safety standards
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Valid driver's license and clean drivers abstract.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 ? 40 per week
