*Welder/ Fitter* MC3 Manufacturing is a market leader in designing and manufacturing cutting-edge Conveyor and Material Handling Systems. Our company is growing, and we are seeking talented and driven individuals to join our team. *Job Description* The welder/fitter is responsible for assembling and welding using GMAW and or GTAW processes for the job required as outlined in the job folder. The welder/fitter is also responsible to ensure that all assemblies are done within tolerances specified and properly identified to enable easy flow to the next process. *Requirements:* * Able to read blueprints * Able to read measuring devices such as tape measures (imperial and metric) * Able to operate forklift and overhead crane * Able to weld using GMAW / GTAW processes *Duties and Responsibilities:* * Adhere to all safety requirements and wear all PPE that is required * Inspect all material prior to assembly for visual defects or out of tolerance ranges * Sets up fixture jigs, where applicable * Obtains and transfers all material to be assembled either manually, with a forklift or with a hoist. * Able to perform tack welds and complete welds using GMAW / GTAW processes * Ensure ALL assemblies are within tolerances specified and meet customer expectations. * Ensure the area is clean and free of any trip hazards * Communicate any deviations with the job processing department * Other duties to be assigned as required *Benefits of working with us:* This is a full-time position that provides overtime pay after 40 hours a week. * Competitive Wages * Full Group Benefits Package\* (Drug, Vision, & Dental) * RRSP Matching Program * Casual Dress code * Opportunity for growth within the company * Passionate leadership with team-based culture We believe employee satisfaction starts with creating a positive and supportive environment where employees feel welcome and are eager to further their careers.
