*Overview* We are seeking an experienced Welding Supervisor to lead our welding team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of welding processes and techniques. This role is crucial for ensuring that all welding operations meet quality standards and are completed efficiently. The Welding Supervisor will oversee daily activities, mentor team members, and ensure adherence to safety protocols. *Responsibilities* * Supervise and coordinate the activities of the welding team to ensure high-quality production. * Train and mentor welders on best practices, safety procedures, and equipment operation. * Review blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications and requirements. * Monitor welding processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications. * Conduct regular inspections of work performed to maintain quality control. * Operate various equipment including forklifts, cranes, and plasma cutting tools as needed. * Maintain accurate records of production output, materials used, and any issues encountered during the welding process. * Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless workflow and communication. *Requirements* * CWB certified (if they had it before and it's expired that is fine or currently expired) * 2 - 3 years experience as metalcore or flux core welder * 2-3 years experience as a supervisor * Ability to read structural drawings * Must be able to read metric and imperial units If you are passionate about leading a skilled team in a fast-paced environment while ensuring top-notch quality in welding operations, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
