*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Building Superintendent to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to manage various building systems effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of the building while supervising maintenance staff and contractors. *Responsibilities* * Supervise and manage all building operations, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations. * Oversee HVAC systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. * Fabricate components as needed for building maintenance tasks. * Manage low voltage systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards. * Conduct regular inspections of the building to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards. * Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized services or repairs. * Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and work orders. * Train and supervise maintenance staff to promote a high standard of work quality. *Qualifications* * Proven leadership experience in a supervisory role within facilities management or maintenance. * Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC systems and low voltage applications. * Proficient in reading schematics and technical drawings related to building systems. * Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues. * Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. * Experience managing teams, fostering a collaborative work environment. * Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in building maintenance. * A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and functionality within the facility.
