Volkswagen of Windsor is an established and busy service department. Mechanics provide repair estimates to potential customers and warranty claims, make and record transactions, and let people know how they can care for their cars with recommended services. * Recording maintenance requests and customer reports of issues like excessive engine noise or poor handling * Conducting vehicle inspections and reporting any problems * Using electronic diagnostic equipment to find issues quickly * Adjusting alignments and suspensions when needed * Making sure tools and equipment are working well * Complying with company and government regulations * Properly disposing of used oil, radiator fluid, worn-out parts, and other components *Summary* As an Automotive Mechanic, you will utilize your mechanical knowledge and experience to perform automotive repairs, maintenance, and assembly tasks. Your proficiency in using hand tools and power tools will be essential for diagnosing and fixing vehicle issues. If you have dealership experience and welding skills, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of vehicles and provide top-notch service to customers. Your ability to handle heavy lifting and your customer service skills will ensure that you excel in this role.
