*Medical Laboratory Technologist* *Okanagan, British Columbia* *$80,000 - $83,000 per annum * *Are you a skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist looking for an impactful role in healthcare?* We?re recruiting for a healthcare provider where you?ll play a vital role in diagnostic and patient care services. *Your Key Responsibilities:* * *Analyze specimens*: Perform essential testing in areas like Hematology, Chemistry, Transfusion Medicine, Microbiology, and Histopathology. * *Quality control*: Ensure accuracy by conducting quality checks on all tests. * *Maintain equipment*: Calibrate and troubleshoot lab equipment to keep operations running smoothly. * *Data management*: Record and report results accurately using lab information systems. * *Ensure compliance*: Follow safety, infection control, and lab regulations. * *Collaborate with healthcare teams*: Work closely with pathologists, lab assistants, and other healthcare professionals. *What You?ll Bring:* * *Education*: Diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Technology. * *Certification*: *CSMLS MLT certification* required. * *Experience*: 2+ years in a laboratory, with skills in core areas like Hematology, Chemistry, and Transfusion Medicine. * *Detail-oriented*: Strong precision and accuracy in testing and data entry. * *Team player*: Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
