Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment for our facilities. Schedule: Tuesday to Thursday: 3 hours, preferably around 7PM-10PM Location: Bowen Road on a bus stop Responsibilities: - Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards - Sweep, mop, vacuum - Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies - Empty trash cans and dispose of waste properly - Dust and wipe down surfaces - Monitor and maintain cleaning equipment - Notify management of any repairs required - Follow all health and safety regulations Experience: - Proven experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance - Ability to clean and maintain various surfaces and materials - Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies - Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks Join our team as a Janitor to contribute to a clean and safe environment for all. Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour Expected hours: 9 ? 14 per week Schedule: * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Experience: * Cleaning: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person- LocationNanaimo, BC
