Since 1993 Beamish Landscape Services Inc, has been Designing, installing and maintaining Landscapes in the Elgin County corridor, with the family business mentality always at the forefront.
Our Moto at Beamish Landscape Services Inc is Design, Build and Maintain. With our industry leading team we are able to design and install complicated or simplistic projects including but not limited to;
Full landscapes, interlocking driveways, patios, retaining walls, ponds, water features, fire pits, pergolas, decks, plantings, sitework and excavation, grading, drainage solutions and much more.
As our new Landscape designer, you?ll be responsible for designing, estimating and selling residential and commercial landscape projects. We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented team member to jump into our dynamic company. Our ideal candidate will possess knowledge of plants, construction practises, measurements, conversions, elevations and grades.
*Duties*
Client acquisition and retention
The creation of detailed landscape designs that encompass the clients requirements, visions and budget with equally detailed and itemized labour and material quotations.
Proficiency in LMN, Dynascape, AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel and SketchUp is required.
Collection of site conditions and client requirements
Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors during an installation
Obey local building code compliances
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trends, materials and techniques
Site visits to ensure crew members are properly implementing the design to the clients understanding
Handoff of client file with detailed descriptions to crew leads and supervisors.
Goal driven and motivated to exceed sales targets whilst maintaining a customer first approach.
*Requirements*
College degree or greater in Landscape design.
3 years industry experience.
Valid G class or higher drivers license.
Excellent communication skills for effective client interactions.
Proficiency in time management as the position will require moving parts as many projects will be installed simultaneously.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Plant identification, understanding of cultural requirements and aesthetic properties.
Understanding of construction practices while adapting to the ever-changing list of industry products.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Personal integrity.

Pay: $23.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 ? 54 per week
