We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring, energetic, creative, and committed AMI trained Montessori Assistant (3-6) to join our dynamic team of educators. This is a full-time, permanent position. *We offer:* * A beautiful, spacious environment to learn and grow * An excellent and competitive compensation package including paid sick days * $6 wage enhancment for Early Childhood Educator certified candidates * Extended group benefits package including medical/dental plan * Childcare discount * On-site parking * Professional development/educational funding *Responsibilities* * Assist the Montessori lead teacher in implementing educational activities for children aged 3-6. * Support individual and group learning experiences by providing guidance and supervision. * Utilize effective communication skills to interact with students, parents, and staff members. * Demonstrate Montessori principles and practices in daily interactions with children. * Manage classroom activities and materials to ensure a safe and organized learning environment. * Provide the children with a prepared environment which includes making materials to support the individual needs within the classroom. * Plan individual and group activities to stimulate growth of the children in social, emotional and academic areas. * Collaborate with the lead teacher to create a nurturing and stimulating educational setting. *Preferred Experience, Qualifications and Attributes:* * AMI Montessori Primary Assistant certification * B.C.
