*Overview* We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods and services, ensuring that all logistics operations are executed efficiently and effectively. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders in the supply chain. *Responsibilities* * Coordinate and oversee logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment. * Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to ensure timely delivery of packages. * Utilize sourcing strategies to procure necessary materials and supplies for operations. * Oversee order picking processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency. * Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and shipments using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). * Collaborate with supply chain partners to optimize logistics processes and reduce costs. * Monitor shipping schedules and resolve any issues that may arise during transportation. * Prepare reports on logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. *Qualifications* * Proven experience in logistics coordination or a related field. * Familiarity with supply chain management principles and practices. * Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment processes. * Experience with package handling and inventory management systems. * Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Proficient in using logistics software and tools for tracking shipments and managing orders. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with vendors, clients, and team members.
