This full-time role involves working with a dynamic lab team to deliver critical support in patient care. *About the Role:* As a Medical Laboratory Assistant, you will play a key role in laboratory operations, focusing on: * *Specimen collection and preparation*: Perform blood draws, handle biological samples, and ensure proper specimen transport. * *Accurate data entry and record-keeping*: Maintain precise patient and specimen records. * *Safety and iInfection control*: Follow protocols to ensure a safe lab environment. * *Inventory and supply support*: Help manage essential supplies to keep lab operations running smoothly. * Collaborate with technologists and lab professionals to provide high-quality diagnostic support to the community. *Qualifications:* * *Certification* as a Medical Laboratory Assistant; *CSMLS MLA certification is highly preferred*. * *Experience*: Minimum *2 years in a lab setting*, ideally in areas such as Hematology, Chemistry, or Transfusion Medicine. * *Attention to detail*: Strong organizational and data management skills. * *Team-oriented*: Able to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
