We are focused on hiring only those exceptional individuals who value safety in the workplace and remain committed to the collective goal of maintaining our Aecon ?zero injury? culture. *PURPOSE OF THE POSITION* Reporting to the appropriate site supervisor, the Industrial Painter will be responsible to ensure Aecon Construction Solutions Inc. achieves their general and specific project requirements. *ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES* · Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary · Mix paint and coatings according to specifications · Apply paint and coatings using various methods such as spraying, brushing, or rolling · Ensure proper coverage and finish quality · Monitor drying times and make adjustments as needed · Inspect finished products for defects or imperfections *KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS* · Physical strength and stamina · Proficient in using power tools, hand tools, and other equipment related to painting · Manual dexterity · A safety-conscious attitude · The ability to work with others in a team · Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues with painting equipment · Repetitive movement · Able to perform in a fast-paced environment · Continuously changing work tasks · Ability to work a significant number of hours throughout the day · Ability to lift and work with materials weighing up to 25kg · Ability to work in all weather conditions and environments 5/2 shift Job Type: Full-time Pay: $31.91-$45.58 per hour Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Monday to Friday Application question(s): * Would you be available for Night Shift?
