The Custodian is responsible for a variety of maintenance, cleaning, and sanitation projects within West Edmonton Mall. Primary Responsibilities: * Performing the daily cleaning and maintenance duties for West Edmonton Mall?s common areas, food courts, washrooms, and offices. * Ensuring all set standards of cleanliness are adhered to at all times. * Checking all areas for any deficiencies and damages and reporting them to a supervisor. * Ensuring WHMIS guidelines are followed at all times. * Other responsibilities as required. Desired Qualifications: * Previous cleaning experience is an asset. * Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently. * The ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours a day. * Excellent communication, and customer service skills complemented by a strong sense of professionalism and a keen eye for detail. Terms of Employment: * This is a full-time position that requires a flexible schedule Monday through Sunday, days, evenings, weekends and holidays. * Must be able to pass a basic security clearance. Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: $15.00 per hour Benefits: * Company events * On-site parking Schedule: * Day shift * Evening shift * Holidays * Monday to Friday * Morning shift * Night shift * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person- LocationEdmonton, AB
