*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer/Bather to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. As a Pet Groomer and/or bather, you will be responsible for ensuring that pets look and feel their best while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for both pets and their owners. *Responsibilities* * Perform grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping/grinding for various breeds of dogs. * Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, providing recommendations for care as needed. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use. * Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets' grooming needs and any observed health issues. * Handle pets safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort during the grooming process. * Assist with heavy lifting of larger animals as required during grooming sessions. * Stay updated on grooming trends, techniques, and products to provide the best service possible. *Experience* * 1-2 years of experience in pet grooming is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided for the right candidate. * Strong customer service skills to build rapport with pet owners and address their concerns effectively. * Ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring the safety of both the pet and yourself during grooming tasks. * A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being is essential in this role.
