Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products. Professionalism in customer service. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Keep a record of items received and delivered. Prepare, package and restock goods. Transport and handle dangerous goods. Load and unload goods. Sort packages for delivery. Use maps and other trip planning aids. Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems. Provide customer service. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Air Brakes Endorsement. Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles). Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads. Weight handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
