Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Non-smoking. Air conditioned. Work setting: Urban area. Motion picture and film industry. Computer graphics or technical special effects. TV and film produciton companies. Tasks: Supervise other graphic designers or graphic arts technicians. Adapt existing illustrations. Produce 2-D and 3-D animated drawings or computer illustrations. Work in a multidisciplinary environment. Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements and content of communications materials. Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication. Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients' objectives. Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements. Supervision: 3-4 people. Computer and technology knowledge: NUKE. Unity3D. Adobe Suite. Autodesk Maya. 3D graphic software. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Attention to detail. Ability to distinguish between colours. Sitting. Tight deadlines. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Initiative. Team player.
