<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p> </p><p><strong>General Accountabilities</strong></p><p> </p><ul><li>Prepares patient, sterilizes or disinfects instruments, sets up instrument trays, prepares materials, and assists dentist during dental procedures.</li><li>Records treatment information in patient records.</li><li>Exposes dental diagnostic x-rays.</li><li>Takes and records patient's medical and dental histories and vital signs.</li><li>Provides postoperative instructions prescribed by dentist.</li><li>Monitors dental supplies and equipment inventory.</li><li>Makes preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations for mounting study casts.</li><li>Pours, study casts.</li><li>Cleans and polishes removable appliances.</li><li>Performs other related duties as needed.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Job Qualifications</strong></p><p> </p><ul><li>Education: Post-secondary certificate from an accredited dental assistant program</li><li>Experience: new grads are welcome, prefer 1 year of experience.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Skills</strong></p><p> </p><ul><li>Detail orienting</li><li>Service orientation</li><li>Monitoring</li><li>Social perceptiveness</li><li>Critical thinking</li><li>Caring</li><li>Multi tasking</li></ul></div></div>- LocationVancouver, BC
